The 1/32nd Hasegawa Bf-109 is a really nice kit right out of the box, but with just some simple updates from Master Details you can make a unique model.  The latest offering from them is a set horizontal tail surfaces.  Molded in light tan resin that is blemish free, this set is beautiful in its simplicity.  Contained in the bag are two horizontal stabilizers and two elevators, both are matched to allow a flaw free fit.  One aspect of the Hasegawa kit that was annoying was the locking pins for the horizontal surfaces.  Master Details takes care of this by refining the interlocking pins so that they actually fit.  The set can be added with the minimal amount of superglue.  The same goes for the elevator, set the angle with just a touch of extra thin superglue and you’re done.  On the real aircraft, the elevators usually drooped when on the ground.  About the only thing that you will have to do is to trim the trim tab.Wing part detail

I’ve always hated cutting and reshaping my control surfaces.  I’m never happy with end results.  This set makes that a thing of the past.

Both simple and inexpensive, this set would benefit anyone contemplating the large scale Hasegawa 109s.

Highly recommended.
